This piece is on a bluish grey vintage Russel Athletic crewneck & primarily consists of 6mm machined sashiko line work. It is an XL, but fits well as a slightly oversized large.

I made this sweater with the intention of trying to give it to @danreedermusic at his show in San Francisco but sadly ended up not being able to make it. He’s got this song called “Stay Down, Man” that I really love. The imagery in it is so strong, and every time I listen to it I can picture the situation so clearly - and it makes me think of similar long days & nights I’ve had (for better or worse).

Dan’s music, and Dan as an artist as a whole, is incredibly unique. I don’t remember how I first came across him, but I’m a big fan and am bummed I didn’t get to see him perform live. If you have any interest at all in folk music, I highly recommend checking him out. And if you end up being really into his work, buy this sweater!
