Sheep Hoodie
All orders take 3-5 weeks to ship. Every hoodie is made by me upon purchase.
The Sheep Hoodie. Available in two variations.
1: Independent Trading co. Mainstreet Heavyweight Hoodie. 420GSM. $100.
2: Los Angeles Apparel Heavy Fleece Hoodie. 475 GSM. Ultra warm and soft. $140.
The artwork for this piece is by @somethingforforever (IG), aka Shannon Beebe, an LA based illustrator whose work I was lucky enough to stumble upon earlier this year. Shannon’s work has this really unique whimsical yet wistful energy that immediately drew me to it. I love her color choice, the thoughtful line work, and soft touches that she uses to capture and convey the energy of scenes that could be straight from contemporary fairytales or dark like the Brothers Grimm tales of old.
I was stoked that Shannon was open to working together, and we ended up deciding to go with this design on a neutral heavyweight hoodie with brown/bronze line work. There’s a very tactile element to the design, as the line work is raised by using satin stitches rather than straight single runs. I find it to be a very clean, sleek design that’s definitely more universally wearable day to day than some of my other pieces. All that is to say, I think this one is pretty cool. Oh also, I think this should’ve been part of Clairo‘s Charm collection. Clairo you have 24 hours to respond.
