This is one of my favorite sweaters I’ve made. I wanted to do a piece for the Olympics & took inspiration from old Olympic stamp designs, which is where the athletes on the sweater come from (I think the stamps were from either Finland or Hungary in the mid 20th century). I tried to keep the colors as neutral as possible, which is also why I kept the Olympic rings black. This is another piece where I tried to really go in on the smaller details, which can be seen on the weightlifters weights, the fencers masks, and the runners shoes and the hurdle.
